1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Watch What (hereinafter referred to as "the Service" or "we"). These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Watch What is a personal movie logging platform that provides the following features:

Record movies, TV series, and other video content you have watched
Rate, tag, and add notes to your content
Upload related images
Generate share links to share your records with others

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.

3. Account & Security

3.1 Account Creation

You must sign in with a Google or Apple account to use the Service. You must ensure that you are authorized to use that third-party account.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You should keep your Google or Apple account credentials secure and are responsible for all activities that occur through your account.

3.3 Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you should use the Service with parental or guardian consent.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (including text, images, ratings, etc.). The Service does not claim ownership of your content.

4.2 License

By uploading content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

Store, process, and display your content to provide Service functionality
Display your content to designated recipients when you enable sharing features

This license is solely for providing and improving the Service and will terminate when you delete your content or account.

4.3 Deletion

You may delete your content at any time. After deletion, we will remove the content from our systems within a reasonable time. However, we cannot control the subsequent use of content that has already been viewed through share links.

5. Content Policy

5.1 Sensitive Content Labeling

If your recorded content is adult content (R18) or of other sensitive nature, you must label it with appropriate tags. Failure to properly label sensitive content may result in account penalties.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all content you upload, including but not limited to:

Ensuring you have the right to use and upload the content
Ensuring the content does not infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Ensuring the content complies with local laws and regulations

7. Prohibited Activities

When using the Service, you agree not to:

Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
Upload illegal content or content that violates local laws
Upload files containing malware or harmful code
Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service
Use automated tools to massively access the Service
Use the Service for any commercial purpose (unless you obtain our written consent)
Impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship with any person or entity

8. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support its operation. By using the Service, you agree to receive these advertisements. Advertising content is provided by Google, and we are not responsible for the advertising content. You can manage your advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, etc., whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Account Termination

11.1 User Termination

You may stop using the Service or request deletion of your account at any time.

11.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the following circumstances:

Violation of these Terms
Engaging in illegal activities
Prolonged inactivity
Other circumstances we deem necessary

11.3 Consequences of Termination

After account termination, you will not be able to access your data. We will delete your data within a reasonable time but may retain necessary backups or information required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through website announcements or other appropriate means. Continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, please stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court of Taiwan as the court of first instance.
